Objectives and activities: The overall objective of the project is to implement an energy storage system based on a Regenerative Electrolyzer. The system operates reversibly, integrating two functionalities in a single device: splitting of water to produce hydrogen and reconversion of hydrogen into electricity. The device is designed to operate on a distributed scale and with adequate responsiveness to absorb fluctuations typical of a renewable source and to stabilize the grid.
