The system operates reversibly, integrating two functionalities in a single device: splitting of water to produce hydrogen and reconversion of hydrogen into electricity. The device is designed to operate on a distributed scale and with adequate responsiveness to absorb fluctuations typical of a renewable source and to stabilize the grid.<\/p>\n<p>The project is led by a partnership consisting of:<\/p>\n<p>Salupo S.r.l.
