No. 0263658 \u2013 11\/09\/2023). Contract extension from September 15, 2024 to September 14, 2025 (Prot. No. 0260969 \u2013 23\/07\/2024). Further extension from September 14, 2025 to April 30, 2026 (Prot. No. 0003010 \u2013 08\/01\/2025).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RESEARCH ACTIVITIES<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Analysis and modeling of electrochemical energy storage devices, with particular emphasis on lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, through Multiphysics process simulations including fluid dynamics, heat transfer, species transport, and electrochemical reaction kinetics, using both 3D and planar geometries. Investigation of aging mechanisms in Li-ion and Na-ion electrochemical devices through ex-situ Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS).
