{"id":8314,"date":"2024-05-13T14:13:33","date_gmt":"2024-05-13T12:13:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.itae.cnr.it\/staff\/agatino-nicita\/"},"modified":"2024-09-05T12:52:59","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T10:52:59","slug":"agatino-nicita","status":"publish","type":"staff","link":"https:\/\/www.itae.cnr.it\/en\/staff\/agatino-nicita\/","title":{"rendered":"Agatino Nicita"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>THEMATIC AREAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES<\/li>\n<li>TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From 1991 to 2000<\/strong>, Regional Centre for Cooperation Intervention, ONLUS, recognised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union, based in Reggio Calabria.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From 2001 to January 2009<\/strong>, he held three employment contracts under the Coordinated and Continuous Cooperation scheme at the CNR ITAE, where he carried out support activities for research and technology transfer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From February 2009 to October 2012<\/strong>, <em>Head of the Assistance and support services for the design, the transfer of technology and the acquisition of funding.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>From 31 December 2012<\/strong>, permanent position as technologist at CNR ITAE.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From 25 October 2012 to 31 December 2020<\/strong>, <em>Head of the Research and Technology Transfer Support Office at CNR ITAE.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>From the 1st Jannuary 2019 to date<\/strong>, <em>Head of the research group for the Evaluation of the Socio-Economic Impacts of Environmental and Energy Technologies &#8211; VISTE.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RESEARCH ACTIVITIES <\/strong>The research activities focus on topics concerning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the economics of energy (economic-financial analysis of investments in innovative energy technologies; LCC; business model analysis);<\/li>\n<li>the sociology of energy (study of socio-technical systems concerning energy transition; social and individual acceptance of new energy technologies; co-creation and co-design processes)<\/li>\n<li>the diffusion of innovation (actor network analysis).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsible for the <em>Energy Power Cluster &#8211; EPC<\/em> project, funded by the Ministry of Economic Development. Scientific responsible for the CNR in the European project H2020 <em>New clean energy communities in a changing European energy system &#8211; NEWCOMERS <\/em><br \/>\nScientific responsible for social research activities in the <em>HYSTORE<\/em> project, Horizon EUROPE programme, to analyse the enabling or hindering factors contributing to the possible deployment of new thermal storage systems.
