Stefano Trocino\u2019s research activity focuses on the design, development, characterization, and diagnostics of energy conversion devices and systems, with particular emphasis on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. He is also involved in the design of electronic systems for control and data acquisition, as well as in the development of LabVIEW software for interfacing and automating electrochemical instrumentation. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative prototypes of electrochemical systems and has participated in numerous research projects in the fields of batteries, fuel cells, electrolyzers, and next-generation photovoltaics. At CNR-ITAE, he coordinates and manages staff training activities and serves as safety officer. He was the scientific coordinator of the Italian Project of Relevant National Interest (PRIN) PNRR 2022 \u201cSERGIO \u2013 Sustainable photoElectRochemical hydroGen evolution\u201d.
