Sistemi di desalinizzazione solari ibridi ad adsorbimento-eittore per la produzione di acqua a basso costo
This proposal aims to exploit and enhance the performance of adsorption desalination by different ejector configurations and to investigate innovative adsorbent materials. In this context, this proposal will include the study of solar energy and weather conditions on the SAD-EJ performance for different rural and coastal areas conditions in Egypt and Italy. On the practical side, a test rig will be manufactured to study the properties of the used adsorption material. Then, a commercial unit of SAD-EJ with a 1000 L/day capacity will be manufactured. On the theoretical side, a mathematical model will be developed using MATLAB and TRNSYS software to simulate the SAD-EJ performance for several regions in Egypt and Italy throughout the year. The performance of the ADS will be evaluated through the main parameters of the daily water production rate, coefficient of performance, cooling capacity, and cost per unit.
