ATTIVITÀ DI RICERCA
Dr. Thomas has research experience in Material Science, with a focus on the preparation and characterization of high surface area porous materials for energy storage and generation applications. She has been awarded with University Grant Commission junior research fellowship for the Doctoral program at CSIR-NIIST, Kerala, India. Her research includes heteroatom doped carbons, MOFs, mesoporous materials, and 2D materials such as graphene and carbon nitrides. (ACS applied materials & interfaces 8 (43), 29373-29382,2016). Later she has been part of developing high surface area electrode materials for supercapacitors and flexible prototypes under different projects (INNENERMAT and BiS-Cap) ((Journal of Alloys and Compounds 960, 170719,2023). Currently, Dr. Thomas is associated with the FPMAT group, where she is working on the development of structured catalysts (monoliths, foams, POCS) for the synthesis of Hydrogen, Methane and Ammonia under various projects such as ANDREAH, AMBHER PLUG-IN. Dr. Thomas has published nine papers with an h-index of seven.
