{"id":3536,"date":"2019-03-12T20:22:38","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T19:22:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.itae.cnr.it\/?p=3536"},"modified":"2024-04-18T15:40:33","modified_gmt":"2024-04-18T13:40:33","slug":"joint-workshop-towards-low-carbon-heating-and-cooling-of-buildings-ish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.itae.cnr.it\/it\/joint-workshop-towards-low-carbon-heating-and-cooling-of-buildings-ish\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint workshop &#8220;Towards low carbon heating and cooling of buildings&#8221; @ ISH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today ITAE participated in the joint workshop &#8220;Towards low carbon heating and cooling of buildings\u2014 three different perspectives\u201d,\u00a0organised by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.heat4cool.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Heat4Cool<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunhorizon-project.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SunHorizon<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thermoss.eu\">Thermoss<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>projects.<\/p>\n<p>Since buildings account for approximately 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in Europe it is mandatory to achieve full decarbonisation of the building sector, starting from the installation of smart heating &amp; cooling systems.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion on possible and existing solutions, based on renewable energy sources and capable of providing cost-effective heating and cooling in the building stock, was the focus of the event.
