RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Dr. Hafsi is currently a postdoctoral researcher in CNR-ITAE involved in a research project on Electrochemical cells operating at intermediate temperatures. Dr. Hafsi has more than ten years of professional experience. Also, he was involved in research works since 2014 and he obtained his PhD degree in mechanical engineering in 2018. His previous research works focused mainly on modelling and analysis of hydrogen-natural gas mixture flows in pipeline networks, towards a better control and mitigation of the impact of pressurized hydrogen on the structural integrity of gas pipelines. Additionally, he conducted research works on algorithms of equilibrium of large-scale piping networks (for gas or water flows). His research work has led to more than 20 articles published in outstanding scientific journals as well as several book chapters.
