The institute’s staff, in addition to the director, comprises 124 units: 49 tenured researchers, 6 fixed-term researchers, 14 tenured technicians, 3 permanent technicians, 43 collaborators (postdoctoral fellows, fellows, PhD students) and 9 associate professors. Due to the strong interdisciplinary nature of the research, the staff comes from various disciplinary fields such as engineering, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
