Testing facilities for thermal energy storage and conversion systems 1

Topic

The lab is devoted to the characterization of prototypes and commercial devices for thermal energy storage and conversion. It consists of a testing rig able to provide 3 levels of thermal energy: up to 95°C with power up to 70 kW; from 20 to 45°C with power up to 40 kW; from -10 to 20°C with power up to 20 kW. All the hydraulic loops are connected to intermediate tanks and variable speed pumps.
