WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Researcher (Level III) under a professionalizing research grant starting on September 11, 2023 (Prot. No. 0263658 – 11/09/2023). Contract extension from September 15, 2024 to September 14, 2025 (Prot. No. 0260969 – 23/07/2024). Further extension from September 14, 2025 to April 30, 2026 (Prot. No. 0003010 – 08/01/2025).

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:

Analysis and modeling of electrochemical energy storage devices, with particular emphasis on lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, through Multiphysics process simulations including fluid dynamics, heat transfer, species transport, and electrochemical reaction kinetics, using both 3D and planar geometries. Investigation of aging mechanisms in Li-ion and Na-ion electrochemical devices through ex-situ Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Techno-economic assessment of the renewable energy – electrolyzer – hydrogen production supply chain, employing price-responsive approaches to evaluate the integration of hydrogen systems within energy markets.
