WORK EXPERIENCE
From 2010 professional role: Technician 6th professional level in CNR’s INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES “NICOLA GIORDANO”, working activity description: technical and operational support in the development, generation and storage of energy systems for stationary and automotive applications, the management of hydrogen as an energy carrier in systems based on fuel cells and electrolysers. Technologies based on conversion of hydrogen, thermal and electric energy, through the design and characterization of prototype devices, in lab scale and in pre-commercial applications for residential and industrial fields.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Design and development of test beanch for the characterization of components and electrochemical energy storage systems; development of energy stations prototype with renewable energy paired with energy storage systems; development and testing of new concept hybrid hydrogen/batteries veichles; design and development of smart electronic devices with measurement, communication and control interfaces useful for automation field, remote control and protection of generation plants and storage systems, development of low-emission and zero-emission power generation systems for naval applications, design and testing of fuel cell PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) test beanch system powered by hydrogen and air/enriched air (oxygen >23.5%) for the production of energy, development of an open source tool for technical, economic and territorial planning analysis in power to gas plant’s applications.23.5%), per la produzione di energia elettrica; sviluppo di un tool open source di analisi tecnico-economica e di pianificazione territoriale per l’adozione di impianti power to gas in un territorio.
