WORK EXPERIENCES
From 15/05/2023 ongoing- Fixed-term employment contract with researcher level III profile within the ECCSELLENT Research Project: “Development of Italian ECCSEL-R.I. facilities: user access, services and long-term sustainability” at CNR-ITAE in Messina. From 10/15/2019 to 5/14/2023 Professionalizing research grant as part of the projects “CO2Fokus – CO2 utilization focused on market relevant dimethyl ether production, via 3D printed reactor- and solid oxide cell-based technologies” and CO2 only – CO2 as only source of carbons for monomers and polymers: a step forward circular economy.” at CNR-ITAE in Messina.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Design, development and testing of both powdered and structured solid catalysts (manufactured by 3D printing techniques) for obtaining alternative fuels.
- MeOH/DME production by catalytic hydrogenation starting from COx/H2 mixtures.
- Olefins production by MTO (Methanol-To-Olefins) e DTO (DME-To-Olefins) process.
Chemical-physical characterization of catalytic systems and identification of key structure-activity correlations.
Main results: 10 papers ISI, 1 chapter book; 18 contributions to conference proceedings; 7 technical reports. Scopus h-index: 6 (27/10/2023)
