WORK EXPERIENCE
Since January 2008 he is permanent researcher at the CNR-ITAE of Messina, where he carries out research on development of materials and processes for hydrogen rich syngas production from renewable sources. From 2000 to 2007, he received grants by CNR of Messina on study of catalytic materials for reforming technologies.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Currently, he is involved on the study and development of thermo-chemical processes (gasification and pyrolysis) applied to biomass and residual materials for hydrogen / add-value products (i.e. biochar) production. From 2001 till now, he collaborates with the Department of Engineering of the University of Messina on topic: heat and energy production through catalytic materials developing. From 2020 to the present, he holds the role of “BCT theme-area” representative.
